01My Approach

The best way to protect information is to gather little of it. I am Pierre Lidji, and The Remnant Awakens has no login system, stores no passwords, and never sees your payment details. What little I do keep exists only to run features you use — a visit count, a daily quiz streak, and an email list you chose to join.

02What I Collect

• Visit counts — an anonymous tally of page visits, used only to show how many have come to the platform. It is not tied to your identity.
• Daily quiz progress — your streak and best score, kept against a random token created and stored in your own browser. No name or email is attached. Clearing your browser storage resets it.
• Email list — if you join the Remnant Awakening List, I keep the address you submit so I can send updates. You may ask to be removed at any time.

04How Your Information Is Protected

• Encrypted in transit — the entire site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your device and the platform is encrypted.
• Managed, hardened hosting — the site and its functions run on Netlify, and the small amount of stored data lives in a managed Postgres database with access restricted to the platform's own services.
• Least data, least risk — because there are no accounts and no payment data, there is very little that could be exposed in the first place.

No online service can promise perfect security, but I work to keep what little I hold safe and to fix issues quickly when they are found.

05Cookies, Browser Storage & Third Parties

I use your browser's local storage for practical things such as remembering your chosen language and your quiz progress. I also rely on a few trusted third-party services that may set their own cookies or receive technical data when their content loads:

• Google AdSense — serves the advertisements on the site and may use cookies to display and measure ads.
• YouTube — powers the embedded teaching videos you can watch on the page.
• Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used across the site.

Each of these services operates under its own privacy and security terms. You can also control cookies and site data through your browser settings.

06How Long I Keep Data & Your Choices

I keep information only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was given. Quiz progress lives in your browser until you clear it. You can ask me to remove your email address at any time.

08Changes To This Policy

As the platform grows, I may update this policy. When I do, I will change the date shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means the current version applies.
